Managing Director
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing ABL financing opportunities within designated territory through direct customer calling, financial intermediaries, regional investment banks, turnaround firms, accounting firms etc. Interface with internal credit staff to structure proposals, commitments and close transactions. Interface with capital markets group as to underwriting of transactions requiring co lenders. Develop territory and market share towards re-establishing clients presence in respective markets. Transaction size of $20MM or more with capital market executions as high as $200MM to $400MM. Seven years of Business Development experience substantially in an ABL product environment with at least 10 years of experience in Asset Based Lending and corporate finance for major financial institutions. Proven track record in generating lending volume and consummating transactions. Ability to structure ABL as well as cash flow financings with understanding of market terms as to borrowing base and pricing. Established presence and reputation in applicable market. Strong credit skills, legal skills and communication skills. Comfort with both sophisticated clients like private equity firms/hedge funds as well as family businesses. Good computer skills with ability to use excel, word and power point. BA required and MBA preferred.
Salary $175K-200K range and bonus.
